Divisibility Tests of 1 to 10
Math Animations on Instagram: "Divisibility rules give you a quick way to see whether a number can be divided by a small integer without actually doing the division. For two you simply look at the final digit and if it is even then the whole number is even. For three you add all the digits and if that total divides by three then so does the original number. To test for four you treat the last two digits as their own number and see whether that divides by four. Five is even simpler: any number ending in zero or five will divide by five without a remainder. When you want to check six you apply the rules for two and three – a number that meets both will divide by six. The rule for seven asks you to double the last digit and subtract it from the number formed by the remaining digits; if that result divides by seven then the original number does too.
